We’ve really been looking forward to today when we could give our readers a free gift! These recipe cards come in 4 different designs and 4 different colors: aqua, avocado, brick, and gold.

// UPDATE //
The great thing about these recipe cards is, you can fill them out on your computer and print them from home! No more trying to decipher your own rushed chicken scratch (at least that’s my problem!) You can access the free download here:
Avocado ~ Page 1
Avocado ~ Page 2
Gold ~ Page 1
Gold ~ Page 2
You can have as many templates as you want, and you have unlimited prints too! So spread the word to your friends! We’ll have a give away once a month, so be sure subscribe to our blog so you don’t miss it.

These would be fantastic to mail out with the bridal shower invitations. Each guest should bring the completed recipe card plus one ingrediant from that recipe to the shower. It helps stock up the brides pantry and build out her recipe book.
Love this idea! Think I am going to steal the idea for my upcoming wedding! :)
I love how these are set up and how generous of you to share. I just did a post on organizing my favorite recipes. Would you mind if I added a link to this post to help others know about your cards. Let me know. Thanks!
Leanne, of course I wouldn’t mind! Post away! :)

How wonderful! These might just help inspired me to organize all my old recipes! thanks so much. :)
Since they download to iBooks. How do you then type your recipe on them and then print directly from the computer. Carolyn

I absolutely love the recipe cards, I can’t tell you how long I’ve been looking for something like this. I love the aqua ones! I have one question, is there anyway you could change the font of the recipe name so it’s easier to read? The scroll font is sort of hard to read! Any help would be awesome. Thank you so much!
I just found these (I was googling recipe card templates for a cookie exchange at work) and I’m in love!!!!! They are beautiful! Thank you for posting them!

Thank you! I just found these when googling for fillable recipe cards. They are perfect and so pretty! Thank you for sharing them!
I LOVE these cards… I just have one problem… I need 3×5.. :(
These are gorgeous! Quick question… do you have them in a smaller size at all? Either 4×6 or 3.5×5? Or does anyone know how to resize them? My husband and I received a beautiful wood recipe box for a wedding gift, and I’ve been dying to organize our recipes. But it’s only 5.5 inches wide :(
I am having the same problem…did you end up being able to figure anything out?
The cards are beautiful! Thank you so much for making them!
I’ve found that the first card on the Avocado1 page doesn’t place text correctly. The ingredients forms puts the text right on top of the line, making it difficult to read. It also cuts off longer ingredients entries instead of making a second line of text. Oddly, the second card on the page works fine. The top one is the only card that I have had trouble with.
Thank`s a lots!

I just discovered you from happiness is. These are so lovely! Thank you for offering them to us!
i also want these in a smaller size, is there any way to resize them?
Hi All i have figured out how to print these in a smaller size, you still can only get 2 per page but it works.
In Adobe Reader go ‘File’, ‘Print Setup’ then in that screen beside your printer name there is the properties for your printer (this may not work for all printer as the properties may be different for all but worked for me on my canon mp220) in my print properties i went to ‘Page Setup’ tab and chose ‘Scaled Printing’ in the ‘Page Layout area, then i reduced the Scaling % until i had it right. It took a few tries to get it right but just print on scrap paper to test. I wanted 100x150mm (think this is 6×4″) and so i adjusted the % to 87%. use the small marked in corner to measure. Good Luck!
And thanks for adding these they are just gorgeous!
these are fabulous…. i was wondering what program you used to create these?

These are Gorgeous! Any chance you’ll do them in a full 8.5 X 11 page?
Great idea to use the colours for different headings e.g. Brick for meat dishes, Avocado for vegetable dishes, Aqua for starters and Gold for Desserts.

Thank you! How fun!!! I can’t wait to share these with a new bride, she will love the colors.
Absolutely. Love. These. Thank you so much for sharing!
Question- These templates are printable (PDF files). Do you have templates that can be downloaded and used to TYPE recipes vs. hand-writing them?
I don’t know if it’s because I was using a Mac, but I found that when I started to type the recipe onto the cards they didn’t match up with the lines. The title of the recipe ended up with the underline straight through the middle and the ingredients hovered several mm above the lines (not nearly as bad, but I thought I’d mention it for completeness). Which is too bad because they’re exactly what I’m looking for, but I need them for today and I can’t use them with the underline running through the title.
Thank you, my recipes were all typed on Word. From now on, i can have it nicely presented on these beautiful templates
Just found these in a Google search and it’s exactly what I was looking for! The boys and I are making mini loaves for their teachers and I wanted something nice to put the recipe on and this is just the ticket! Thanks and you have a great site by the way – would love to have you as a guest at http://momstalknetwork.com :)
Love the recipe cards. I am using a mac and I found a way to over over come the text in the body running over the lines by doubling spacing. The issue that I am having is with the avocado template. The border is in the brick and the text is in avocado. Got any clue on how to correct? I would love to use them for my daughters wedding. Thanks so much.

Free Printable Recipe Cards! How cool is that?!
Love your recipe cards! I have successfully downloaded all but page 1 of the Brick card. I have my collection of recipes on the computer, but I thought it a good idea to have family favourites on cards — prettier to pass on when requested.
I am not able to download these recipe cards yet I love them. Could you please help me. I especially love the avocado and Aqua ones. When ever I click on the link end up with a black blank webpage.
Danielle, SO sorry you’re having trouble! All of the links are working correctly, so I’m not sure why you would be having trouble, strange! I have your email address from the comment left, so I will send you the files as soon as I can. Thanks!

These are beautiful and I really want to use them! One question – is there a way to change the size of the font of the typed ingredients and directions? I’m trying to print on 4×6 cards so the current font comes out quite small. I’ve tried to edit the form but cannot (I think because it is certified), so I was hoping someone may have advice. Thanks!
Thank you so much for the beautiful recipe cards. I’m so excited to get them printed out.

Hi found you on pinterest. These are gorgeous! Just a question – if the recipe ‘name’ is too long for the top of the card, how do I adjust the size of the text that is defaulting? I can’t seem to make it smaller :(
